Michèle Caussin-Bellon - Alchimiste du Tadelakt
Sous le nom évocateur de "POUPÉE", Michèle Caussin-Bellon se distingue dans le paysage artistique contemporain par une maîtrise quasi mystique du Tadelakt, une technique ancienne et envoûtante, héritage des artisans marocains. Tel un peintre qui sculpte la lumière, elle transforme la poudre de marbre en une matière vivante, satinée, où chaque geste devient une danse intime avec la matière. Surnommée "la peintre du marbre au toucher de velours", elle insuffle dans ses œuvres une sensualité palpable, où l’abstraction se mêle aux souvenirs fugaces du réel.
Formée aux prestigieux Beaux-Arts, diplômée de l'École Camondo en Design et Architecture d'intérieur, et enrichie par son passage à l'École du Louvre, Poupée a longtemps navigué entre le figuratif et l'abstrait. Ses premières œuvres, marquées par la figuration, trahissent un profond désir de capturer l'essence des émotions humaines, tandis que ses créations ultérieures, inspirées par son maître et ami Jacques Truphémus, s'envolent vers une abstraction pure, vibrante de mouvement et de couleurs.

Using subtle mixtures of plaster, stone, water and air, enhanced with natural pigments, she applies a thick coating to wood or canvas, shaped by tools that seem to extend the life of her hands. Speed and precision combine to defy the transience of evaporation, each trowel becoming an extension of her creative vision.
Poupée's work transcends borders, nestling in private collections around the world, and has graced the walls of prestigious galleries in the United States, Brazil, China, Japan and beyond. They have been celebrated with numerous awards and distinctions, testifying to the international recognition of his creative genius, including a medal from the Arts-Sciences et Lettres in 2017 and a distinction from the Polish Ministry of Culture in 2023.
Renowned museums such as the Hermitage in St Petersburg, the Henan Museum of Fine Arts and the Kajita Museum in Japan are among the guardians of his work, ensuring his artistic approach a place of choice in the pantheon of contemporary art.
